Animé 100 Celebration
Japan Expo Sud is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Japanese animation with music: AYANE, Misaki IWASA, and UMI☆KUUN get together on stage for a concert dedicated to anime themes!
Japanese animation is 100 years old this year, and that’s a perfect time for celebration! On this occasion, AYANE, singer of the RnB band ILU GRACE, Misaki IWASA, ex-AKB48 who has become an enka singer, and UMI☆KUUN, J-pop singer, will be performing the best of anime themes together.
And there will be music for everyone, nostalgic fans and younger ones alike with Saint Seiya or Candy Candy, Tokyo Ghouls or Love Live!. Many more hits will be performed: a true moment of bliss for anime fans!
Animation is at the heart of Japan Expo festivals and of our passion for Japan. That’s why Japan Expo has decided to launch the Animé 100 project to celebrate this 100th anniversary.
On July 6-9, 2017, the program of Japan Expo Paris will highlight Japanese animation with special guests and events, a series of panels, and a great exhibit going through those 100 years of Japanese animation. And celebrations will start at Japan Expo Sud during the Animé 100 Celebration concert with a lot of anime music!
