Yuegene Fay
A guest at Japan Expo in 2016 and 2019, Yuegene Fay is coming to the South of France for the first time: meet this renowned cosplayer whose talent has been recognized many times around the world!
Yuegene Fay began cosplaying in 2000, along with costume and accessory making, and make-up artistry. She is an ambassador for cosplay in Thailand and has represented her country twice at the World Cosplay Summit, in 2007 and 2009.
She has appeared on TV programs in several countries, including Japan on the national public broadcaster NHK, bringing her to the attention of a wider audience. In China, for example, she has over 100,000 fans following her on Weibo.
Yuegene Fay has won numerous prizes in cosplay competitions all over the world, and is a regular guest commentator and judge at major international cosplay competitions, such as the World Cosplay Summit, Anime Festival Asia, China Joy, China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, and in 2016 she was on the jury of the ECG season 6 and season 9. She has also interpreted various characters to promote anime merchandising in Japan and elsewhere.
