UK is a Korean singer who performed in Japan for 10 years as a member of the group APEACE before embarking on a solo career in 2021. After a remarkable first appearance at Japan Expo Marseille, he returns to present his latest EP: Vivid UK!
UK is a Korean singer who started his activity in Japan in the group APEACE in 2010. As a member of the sub-unit LAPIS5, he performed daily concerts between 2011 and 2014 at K THEATER TOKYO, a concert hall dedicated to K-pop in Yebisu Garden Place. From 2015 to 2021 he expanded his activities beyond the live activities at the theatre and started starring in musicals and appeared in variety shows.
In 2020, UK took part in the G-EGG show.
In 2021, he began his solo career with the song Checkmate before taking a 2-year break to do his military service.
After returning to the stage at Japan Expo, UK is back in the public eye with VIVID UK, an album revolving around the themes of frustrated love and overflow. To mark the occasion, he releases follow me, a joyful, hopeful soundtrack accompanied by melancholy lyrics.
This year, UK takes to the stages of Japan Expo Marseille in partnership with Pachi Pachi Project!
