Biography
Midway between a melodic rick band and a geek orchestra, Neko Light Orchestra has been going from conventions to conventions in France and abroad since November 2011. This group of composers is specialized in reinterpreting SF and fantasy film music, video game music and animation movie soundtrack.
Since 2013, the band has also been producing their own shows in movie theatres with Échos de la Vallée du Vent (echoes from the valley of the wind), a tribute to Hayao MIYAZAKI’s movies and to Joe HISAISHI’s music. In 2015, the band released their first album, Uchronies Musicales Vol.1, and toured in Japan and all over Europe.
At Japan Expo Sud
On tour in March 2015 in France, Nekos will be at Japan Expo Sud on Sunday, March 8 for a musical tribute to the Studio Ghibli and Hayao MIYAZAKI.
