Headliners from J-rock, J-pop and idol bands in sound and light concerts, contributions from leading artists from the world of manga and japanimation, cosplay competitions and parades transmitted all over the world.
You're on the Ichigo stage, Japan Expo's main stage, where the festival's unmissable events take place!

For the 15th anniversary of Japan Expo Marseille, the Ichigo stage will be overhauled and revamped!
In this improved Ichigo, discover a brand-new layout, with more screens and better resolutions.

The Ichigo stage will now be constantly broadcast on Twitch, on the Ichigo Live Stream.
Enjoy the best moments of the festival from the comfort of your couch!

CONFeRENCES

YÔICHI TAKAHASHI :
Yôichi Takahashi, mangaka of the classic sports title Captain Tsubasa, who has left his mark here in France on national team footballers such as Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry, honors us with his presence at two conferences on the Ichigo stage.

  • Saturday, February 22 at 4:15pm
  • Sunday, February 23 at 11:30 a.m. - For a live drawing interview!

At Sunday's conference, you'll have the privilege of watching this author draw his favourite characters while answering questions, and looking back on his career both orally and practically.

COMME À LA MAISON :
Comme à la maison
, is the show where Ed le Fou interviews personalities from the world of manga and pop culture to find out more about them in a friendly atmosphere - in short, just like at home!

This year, the Ichigo stage will host some very special guests:

  • Brigitte LECORDIER, voice actress, known for playing Son Goku or Oui-Oui (Friday 21 at 11:30 am)
  • Adeline CHETAIL, voice actress, known for playing Zelda and Jinx (Friday 22 at 11:00 am)
  • Sora, YouTube content creator with a community of over 2.6 million subscribers (Sunday 23 at 4:00 pm)
 
 
 

INSTINCT FROM STORYBOARD TO SCREEN:
Dorian COULON and Julien CORTEY both have extraordinary backgrounds: through hard work, they have become two of the most respected French animators in Japanese animation.
Having proven themselves in anime such as My Hero Academia, One Piece and even the Arcane series. They recently made their mark on the trailer for INSTINCT, Inoxtag's manga which had the effect of an earthquake, even before the release of its first chapter.

  • Discover the creative process of an animation project on Friday February 21 at 5.15pm.

ANIMATIONS:

JAPAN EXPO GAME SHOW :
Every year, the Japan Expo Game Show brings together festival guests and visitors. As a team, take up the challenges set by the host: mini-games, quizzes, pictionary and many other challenges await you!

The Japan Expo Game Show will have 2 iterations on the Ichigo stage:

  • Friday, February 21 with KANG MINSU, UK, CookieSan and a surprise guest
  • Sunday, February 23 with Brigitte LECORDIER, Le Fils de la Chance, 2sDoubleA and Misaki Mori

SILVER GEEK :
Association aiming to include seniors in new technologies, so that they can respond to today's digital challenges through play.
With their partners (Uni-cité, La Bêta-Pi, Groupe SOS Séniors, etc.), they host and organize videogame competitions, putting our seniors back into a context of physical activity with, for example, Le Trophée des Séniors at Japan Expo Paris.

Join Silver Geek as they present their work at a unique conference.

KARAOKE GEANT :
Let's sing along to your favorite anime openings in a giant karaoke on Friday, February 21 at 4:15pm.

ATELIER DOUBLAGE :
An unmissable event for all voxophiles! Discover an exceptional redub on stage in the company of reconizable voice actors in Studio Light Fader's dubbing workshop Saturday 22 February 17h15.

CONCERTS

On our French-speaking borders, Cookiesan, a manga and anime enthusiast, is one of the pioneers of the Manga Rap movement, which blends the worlds of manga and France's most popular musical genre, rap.

Gather your energy and share a genkidama love like never before at his concert:
Cookiesan will be performing a brand-new song at Japan Expo Marseille, so grab your chance to appear in his next video!

 
 
 
 

As with every edition of Japan Expo, the Ichigo main stage offers a J-pop program, and is dedicated to putting J-music in the spotlight.
Over the 3 days of the festival, enjoy concerts by artists straight from Japan, with KANG MINSU, UK, ALL IN and Banzai Japan!

CONCERT ANISONG PAR MISAKI MORI :
Itinerant cosplayer Mori Misaki has more than one ace up her sleeve!
In addition to her cosplay talents, she also knows how to set the stage on fire! She'll be performing a new original song on Sunday February 23, composed by the musicians behind the Demon Slayer soundtrack.

AMAZING K-POP SHOW :
As the festival draws to a close, K-pop dance fans are well advised to drop by the Ichigo stage on Sunday February 23 at 5pm for the Amazing K-pop Show. RE:Z TEAM and HDK will deliver a special performance featuring Kang Minsu, All In and UK

COSPLAY

WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT 2025 :
The World Cosplay Summit is an international competition bringing together the best cosplayers from all over the world for fun-filled cosplay shows in pairs.
This annual tournament enables participants to present their cosplays in 2 minutes 30 to a much wider audience, with a chance to travel and gain international recognition.
And it's at Japan Expo Marseille that the French selections are made! Become a representative of France and take your cosplay to the finals in Nagoya (Japan)!

COSPLAY SHOW :
Come and watch an exceptional cosplay parade on Sunday on the Ichigo stage! Come and watch the best cosplayers bring your favorite heroes to life under the spotlight!
